Artists-In-Residence

 
Invite a Performing Artist to spend an extended amount of time with your parishioners/students. The artists from Performing Arts Ministry are both trained and experienced in combining spirituality with their specific art form.

 

Directing Residencies

Stations of the Cross: Provide your parishioners or students with the opportunity to act in a presentation for the entire church/school. Production and rehearsal are directed by a PAM artist.

Create Your Own Liturgical Dramas: Choose a scriptural story or theme and have your parishioner/students bring the story/theme to life through acting. Production and rehearsal directed by a PAM artist.

Lector Training Through Reader's Theatre: Provide training for your lectors as they participate in preparing and presenting a dramatic reading with a seasonal or scriptural theme. Training and
production directed by a PAM artist.

Teaching Residencies

Classes: Classes on a wide variety of topics can be taught once per week or every day for a week. Residencies can begin with an in service for teachers or staff on spirituality and the arts, and can
conclude with a performance by students or parishioners.

Possible Topics for Teaching Residencies:

Exploring the Beatitudes (Elementary - Jr. High)

Experiencing God through Creation (Elementary - Adult)

Enlivening Scripture with Drama (Sr. High - Adult)
